There’s a pretty good article on the Washington Post about it. It would seem to violate 1st Amendment rights. Plus why not just sweep it under the rug? He was retiring in June. Why make a scandal?
The university's response may be puritanical, prudish or whatever you choose to call it, but not being seen naked in public is the socially accepted behavior in this country. He knew that. I don't
