Actually, Lippi, this process is completely safe. I had to use my ID (drivers license) on another site, you may redact your street address, and other pertinent information.

All I’m saying is bank cards are already verified by banks, so-in essence it’s confirmed identity of card holder, unless suspect payment is made they contact you and verify you authorised it

NK govt ID is the requirement from Mastercard - our billing banks - check our site to make sure that is what we are asking people to provide. We cant ask anyone it is MCs way or the higway

At the end of the day, it's all about compliance, LEGAL COMPLIANCE. Once again, when uploading, you may redact pertinent information. Anyone trying to circumvent the process can be dealt with by NN.

So it WILL reduce revenge porn. But it would have been better if they asked for what we originally thought they asked for - ID verification of people in the pics. They didn't we had to roll that back

AGR the uploader is legally saying they have consent. That is the wording in the check box, and they are giving their ID. So it will vastly reduce these pics.
