Fundamentals of baseball and rounders are pretty much identical, but it's more rounders being a simplified version of baseball than the other way round like people think.

It may have been just the school I went to, but fundamentals in rounders are pretty loose. Bat, tennis racket, frying pan... A catch meant the whole side was out...
