I'm not sure. I use the desktop version so I find the mobile one quite odd. Can't find friend requests or notifications (which is how I keep up whilst on my phone)

I always use the desktop version the rare times I'm on my phone. Briefly tried the mobile version but I just don't like it. I'm just too familiar with the desktop version, I guess.

Do not care for the true mobile version. I go straight to desk top once I sigh in from the phone.

Desktop mode allows you to see more comments at a time rather than have to keep expanding the conversations.
