tip
LOL
It is funny when people can't read the rules
(7 years ago)
Oh I can read them. In fact I did read the rules on status updates before posting. I guess I'm just confused about what rule I broke.
An automated pm explaining which rule was broken when a photo is deleted was high on the recent suggestion wish list ..... we might get it one day!
Actually, bullet0, all the rules apply to all the site so you may have contravened one that's spelled out in another section the rules.
I wish someone had suggested simplifying the rules!
Well, I don't know.... His deleted status may not have been "tasteful" for many here, however it didn't directly violate any posting rules.
not sure what was deleted but if you feel it was wrongfully deleted please contact live help
(7 years ago)
I thought any sex act, or implied sex act, with a family member was against the rules. I'm frequently wrong though...
DS, we'll get Crayola status options before we'll get any substantial site changes.
mark you are absolutely right about that, any mention of family members in a sexual way is against site rules, and can end in mute/gag/deletion
(7 years ago)
Whoops, I didn't read before commenting. Mind you, an automated pm with the reason a status was deleted would be a damn fine idea!
mermaid_hunter69 and EmuLater like this
there is no drop box for why we delete a status like there is for pictures so that idea would not work with out a overhaul of how status works
(7 years ago)
Well that's a ruddy great flaw in the system then! I'll add it to my list of useful suggestions to make wink
(7 years ago)
Is a sister- in law consisted a biological family member?
Considered
and while agree that we will be getting cosmetic changes before some of the changes that I feel are more important over all, the ones that make money are what is need, saddly those are cosmetic
(7 years ago)
biological or not it should not be mentioned and will likely get the status or picture if one is posted with a caption mentioning it deleted
(7 years ago)
I couldn't disagree more, Toy.
DubbleStrubble and EmuLater like this
I should hope not LR ....
disagree about what rox
That cosmetic changes to the site will make money.
Look, I understand that some find it unethical or whatever, but it's not illegal - and it's not even incestual.

Agreed LR, it's just overly judgemental imho.
rox the couple profile will be a money maker, as will the color change ability
(7 years ago)
Not sure how colour coordinating status will attract and retain more genuine female contributors to the site, Toy.
laugh toy .. None of those things are going to be "money makers"
legal or not it is borderline on a topic that is not allowed. I will not get into the implications of it but if something can cause an issue it is safe to say it should not be allowed
(7 years ago)
I don't think the rules have the word "biological" in any of the family references, Lord.
DubbleStrubble and EmuLater like this
Yes it is DS. This whole site has become "overly-judgmental". THAT certainly is not going to make it a money maker.
DubbleStrubble and EmuLater like this
when users have to pay to add said features it will make money, for example the blue shield myself and mark both have, we paid for it

I agree with you on the Crayola status comment, Rox....except you obviously misspelled the word "color."
And what has that blueshieid brought to your experience here? :laugh;
LR if you want to argue inlaw vs biological please PM nn himself and argue with him
(7 years ago)
Over fucking modding. That'll make money for the site. Sarcasm font. Laters all, before I say what I really think grin

Listen ... What I'm saying is .. As tasteless as it is, it didn't violate rules.. It doesn't violate any laws.
The fact that we are even having this discussion .. Is a clear example of why NN is steadily becoming a no "money maker".
please read bullet point 5 on picture posting rules, if step is not ok it is safe to assume inlaw is not ok either
(7 years ago)
If NN is failing to see this .. Then I'm afraid he's lost the plot.
No- step .. is different.
I was just peeking at the rules, as Toy states, any mention of ince.st or family is forbidden....at least that's my interpretation.
no you said inlaw is not biological , well neither is step...
end of story, a mod deleted somethng that they felt broke the rules directly or indirectly and if the poster has an issue then there are ways to complain. arguing in status is not effective
(7 years ago)
i consider NN one big disfunctional family eek
(7 years ago)
*casually thumbs through the newest crayon color catalogue*

Obviously there is a different family dynamic between the two.
oooh teal is a nice color grin
NN can't figure out why this site isn't any longer thriving? This is one huge reason why.
Dammit, Lord....why are you causing a ruckus, sir! Shouldn't you be out celebrating Canada Day by eating maple syrup covered poutine while riding a moose from your igloo to a hockey game?
simples its global warming, people are investing wisely in air con units grin
(7 years ago)
And, I obviously disagree with ya but I do at least see your point.
My Canada day festivities will be starting shortly, Mark. grin
(7 years ago)
The points I'm making are my observations as an outsider.
And yes I know ... The vibe has been " buy a green shield then we will listen". Ha!
You've been here for at least 6 years and are a frequent status participant/ antagonist....not sure how much of an outsider you are, SodaPop Curtis.
I'm looking forward to being able to convert a bookmarked picture into a join the dots game grin
(7 years ago)
I've been on NN for around 10 years. I've purchased two 3 year premiums in the past. Money isn't the issue.
My "Two-Bit" point, Buck, is that you're not an Outsider. (Yes, I am calling you names)
laugh I like you, Mark
In all honesty ... I'm trying to figure out what type of site NN is trying to be

Is it just becoming a tit/dick book with status updates closed minded heavily regulated community?
