I have Indigenous Day off today.

It is still called Columbus Day in lots of places,

but when history comes to light on what he did to the locals,

it was time to change.

Besides,

we've had the misconception for years that he discovered what we now call the United States.

He missed that by a bunch.

Sometimes change is good.

Okay, last night I had dreams back to back:

In the first, I was in a flooded building, putting my belongings (keys, phone, wallet & cigarettes) in a water tight bag because I had to go under water to reach the next room.

In the second, I was naked & trying to cover up as I walked into a thrift store to get some clothes. The women who worked there new me and had the attitude of 'oh, not again!', before giving me some clothes I had stored in the back room.

So I looked these up in on a dream site.

The first dream is a sign of impending gain (one of those opposite meaning dreams).

The second is your basic insecurity dream of a secret being discovered.

Putting the two together, to me at least, would seem to mean I will have something good happen to me, but I'm insecure that people will find out.

Only time will tell if they actually come true.

I have eaten this tasty treat my whole life.

Just put a BIG spoonful of peanut butter in a bowl.

Add syrup (I grew up using Karo light syrup, but now I use maple syrup), stir well.

I use a couple of pieces of bread to sop up what I don't spoon into my mouth,

washing it down with a glass of milk.

First, I was hand slapped for posting something on FB they deemed inappropriate.

Second, FB disappears for awhile during my prime viewing/posting time.

Third, Today I can't post any pictures or comments on my page.

I'm beginning to think FB doesn't want me around.

In spring, a young man's fancy turns to love.

In summer it's women wearing less, so lust rules with the heat.

Fall brings out the sweaters and slacks (or jeans), so one's imagination must be sharply focused.

Winter is Hell. Not only are women bundled up, but it's so cold that you must worry more about staying warm than being able to fantasize.

God, how I hate winter.

I would rather eat sausage than bacon,

BUT

bacon grease makes a better gravy for biscuits & gravy.
