A new carving. Calling this one "Cozy Country Cottage"

Carved from cottonwood bark from Canada. And painted with watercolors laid down on in a wash. And a brass doorknob!! lol

My sister C has decided to go to culinary school at the age of 40. Remarkable to start something new like that at a later age! She is enjoying herself so much too!
So as a Gift to her to show my support and congrats I have made her a couple of wooden utensils out of walnut. The design on the handles are a reference to her nickname .... So I know she will love 'em! Y'all are going to see them even before she does LOL

The amazing Benedict Cumberbatch gives a very dramatic reading of a letter by artist Sol LeWitt to sculptor Eva Hesse. Written in 1965, the letter was LeWitt’s attempt to help Hesse, whom he’d befriended five years prior, banish her self-doubt.
Having friends who can talk to you like this when necessary is amazing. I don't have one , just my own psyche , but to live in a way that your friends are all interconnected with each others passions.
Wonderfully done.

A painting by flemish painter Peter Paul Reubens done around 1616 AD.
Apparently an ancestor of D. Trump. And like his later ancestor this one is quite the Blowhard..........

Started out as a long piece of white oak....

Cut down to a workable size

A little carving and a little while later....voila!

Can't have one unless you have 2.....

A couple holes drilled in the top for the candles... a little oil.... now set them out to dry.....

This project I made for my son for his Birthday coming up in a couple days.
Fairly accurate depiction of middle earth.... with an extra Bay named after my son(wonder if he will ever notice lol)
Frame is made of cedar limbs lashed(and glued) to the picture.

I find it absolutely hilarious that former trolls are actually complaining about trolls and being trolled.

Now you know how it feels to be trolled. I mean for years others were subjected to your trolling behavior, yet here you are in their shoes.
