Someone asked me if I could make them a bench for their porch.
So I looked around my shop for some suitable materials....

Then an hour later I had a simple 5 board bench. I am going to paint it as requested. But was a nice project.

I was at work and I seen this piece of card board on the floor. I was going to throw it away when I realized it had a familiar look to it.

So I added some cut paper and a cut out of a shape and PRESTO... it does look familiar!!

Yea I guess I was feeling creative .....

Spent some time in my shop today. I finished a project I had been working on, a wooden vise that I made from scratch. Cut the threads and everything. I will post those pics later. I also made another Celtic Pen and 4 key chains. The pen is made with Bog Oak(5600 years old) and the key chains are made from redheart,marblewood and some ice acrylic . Turned out nice.

I also kicked back and made a fire in my fire pit and relaxed for awhile.

Made this pen today.
Called Phoenix Rising. I am going to give this to a friend/co-worker who is moving back to Houston tomorrow and I may never see him again because he is really sick and he is going to Houston for treatment. Thought the Phoenix was fitting for the occasion.

Worked in the shop this morning and made some new things to add to my list of things I make!

WOW.... is there anything this guy can't do??? LOL

New Bolt action pen with fire acrylic

Celtic pen made with Bethlehem Olive wood

Key chains... on the left is Cocobolo and the right is Marblewood

This past Saturday I went with my son to a Renaissance Festival in very cold weather ! It had full contact jousting!!! If you have never witnessed that you are missing out. Oh MY it is intense! This pic is of the victor of all his matches.

This is a vid of him breaking one of his lances! Lotta Fun. I took this vid myself.

Now this is at the Bird's of Prey demo. This beauty is Artemis. Beautiful!
