Just when you think it’s staying lighter outside longer… it is! And this weekend daylight savings time begins again. I used to think the time changed in the spring so you could enjoy the nice spring weather longer. Wrong! Not any more!

It’s still freaking winter!

There are piles of snow everywhere especially at the edges of the parking lots. Not the pretty snow we had a few days ago. This is the ugly dirty looking stuff, but not to worry because it’s suppose to snow a little more tomorrow night. Then we’ll have a brand new fresh layer that’ll brighten our day a little more.

Don’t get me wrong, I like snow and the magic it gives on a cold winter night when you have a nice cozy fire roaring in the fireplace. But now I want warm spring breezes that makes everyone feel excited to be outside again. On the other hand the warm summer allows all the beautiful women to simply wear less so I can see more!

Show me some summer skin!

It sure didn't take much time for the sun and warm temperatures to start melting everything. That 9" of snow is maybe half gone already. I am so ready for this winter to end! It seems like a few days ago ago I was in the warmth of Las Vegas. Wait! It was just a few days ago.

This weekend is going to quiet just thinking that she's going to out of town. Guess it's fair because I was the one gone last weekend. However, my daughter will be visiting and bringing her new puppy with her.

I now what you're thinking but I'm referring to 9" of snow today. When I left for work there was only a little sleet & I wasn't expecting much else to happen. Surely this snow had passed us over. But I was wrong.

I just measured the snow with a yardstick outside and it was a full 9" deep. Even that surprised me! The best part was that I found someone had already shoveled off the walk and the driveway! Guess small wonders do happen when you least expect them!

Monday, March 3, 2008, 4:25:35 AM- Back From Las Vegas

Las Vegas is like no other city I've ever been. There is no time there. The day there we just found ourselves doing 24 hours straight before we got some sleep. I never quite recovered for the rest of the trip. That was a mistake. What should should have been an A+ experience turned quickly into maybe a C trip at best.

More on all this tomorrow. Right Now I'm just worn out!
We stayed a the Bellagio which was definitely on best place to say list! By The way I doubled my winnings!! First time Ever

It might raining here but not in Vegas. Our flight leaves at 7:15 a.m. which means we have to leave the house at 5:30 a.m. We arrive just before 9:00 a.m. Las Vegas time. Is that to early to start gambling?

We're not going to gamble but rather just experience the place that isn't real. Don't worry I'll get ya pictures when we return Sunday evening.

Our bag is packed and I guess we're ready. I'll check back with everyone at the end of the weekend!

Tomorrow is trash pick up day so tonight I had to haul it all out to the curb. It's not that bad except it was fucking cold out there! Snow had been falling half the day but not much stuck. Thank god for that! It's a job no one looks forward to.

But I could think of more pleasant duties if given the opportunity. Like maybe washing off your back in the shower, then you could return the favor. Showers are fun, taking out the trash isn't!

We leave for Vegas on Friday but I have no real desire to go. It's a trip that's suppose to be fun & exciting but the spirit just isn't there. Maybe that'll change in a day or two.

Every time I say let's go to this show.. the response is we'll be too tired. Let's not try to do too much. The trip is only for 3 days, 2 nights so all you want to do is hang out? Her brother will of course be the center of attraction wit his extremely entertaining wit. But what about us?

Her sister should have gone also to complete the sibling gathering. Vegas seems to be such a waste & I haven't gotten on the plane yet. OK, my mood isn't good this mornig. Hopefully that'll change.
