Tuesday, April 1, 2008, 11:52:27 PM- Something slightly weird
While trying to cheer up a friend having bad I found this slightly wacky website. It looks as if it's real but of course it's not. But be sure to check out all the different sections including the multimedia page.

Well, that's your entertainment for this evening!

Tuesday, April 1, 2008, 2:28:56 AM- Rainy Monday
Work was actually pretty good today. Not a real problem to deal with which was quite abnormal. Shouldn't everyday be like this this?

I finished my taxes and the results were horrible. Surely I made a mistake somewhere in the return. I owe way too much. Now I've got to go back and recheck all the figures. The sad part is I like working with all the numbers.

Good News... My new camera will arrive a day earlier than expected. It looks like Wednesday will be the big day. The other good news is I've already got a buyer for my current camera.

Sunday, March 30, 2008, 3:33:08 PM- Tax Time!
I've been putting it off every weekend but today IS the day that I will actually complete doing my taxes. Later today I'll let you know how the numbers came out. Personally I think it'll be pretty ugly!

Last night's dinner out with my son and his bride to be was fairly upbeat but simple. Dad paid of course as it should be. Most of the conversation was about their June wedding. My wife said she wasn't going to drink at the reception and I made a comment about "Just like you're not going to drink during the week". Not one paid any attention to it until we got home alone then she really reamed me out but good for saying it.

That was it. Any good vibes we built during dinner was over. She just wouldn't let it go. It was such a small comment. Who would have thought she would have ballistic over it. When I said she making way too big a deal out of it she let it all out. Saying sorry wasn't enough. I got it good with both barrels as though she was gunning for me.

Last night I got up 3 different times. A rain storm hit around 6:00 so I just got up. It was worthless trying to sleep. She knows I'm pissed off and asking if I'm going to be in this mood all day. "Is it because we haven't sex in long time?" she asked. That's just a symptom so I kept my mouth shut and will just keep myself busy today with anything I can find.

Besides the taxes, I'll be sanding and refinishing all the interior trim downstairs. That least that's goal.

Saturday, March 29, 2008, 11:09:11 PM- Just Worn Out
I've been going at it since about 7:15 this morning and my body is screaming "I'm just worn out". Most Saturday should give the soul a little relaxing time but not today.

Saturday, March 29, 2008, 12:51:03 PM- Pulled the trigger
It's Saturday morning and I'm at work but no one else has shown up yet. When you're ther guy with the keys you're xxxxxx to be the first to arrive. At least the sun is out for the time being.

Last night was such a waste. Most of you surely had some some fun. For me, it was watching Michael Clayton on DVD then heading to bed. Nothing Else! I used to look forward to date night but it seems to be non-existent these days. But the wife happier.

A couple of days ago I finished my research and decided not to wait any longer so I went ahead and purchased my new camera online. Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I've never ordered camera online before but the savings was to great.

What I got was a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 because it offered everything I really wanted. It's SLR style but I didn't want to mess around with mulitple lenses. However, the 18X optical zoom lens is made by Leica just like my current Lumic model. I loved my old camera but this unit is truly sweet.

18x optical zoom (28-504mm equiv.)
8.3 megapixel sensor
Face Detection
Intelligent Auto mode
Manually selectable ISO 1600
ISO 6400 High Sensitivity mode
AF/AE lock button and dedicated AF/MF button
Custom mode and extra scene modes
Five level Noise reduction

Thursday, March 27, 2008, 12:49:14 AM- Men & Women
I believe the thought process of men & women are quite different. But every once in a while they collide and follow the same path if only for a few hours. But ohhh... those few hours can be extremely satisfying.

OK... I'm talking about sex. Do you really think men & women think of sex in the same way or not?

If you're answer is yes then you are in one sweet relationship!

Yes they are. And no, they aren't to collide... but they're to meet and cross here and there in steady equilibrium. That's a happy relationship."

Tuesday, March 25, 2008, 12:08:38 PM- Starting Day Two
In a short while I'll venture out to work and begin my daily routine all over again. My wife is still upstairs sleeping because she doesn't go in until 10:00. On the flip side our extended Tuesday hours have been cut down by an hour.. so it seems I'll have that to look forward to.

By looking at the clock I've got to get my ass going in about 10 minutes. However, tonight there's going to ample time to perve around on NN. So maybe this is the catalyst I need jump start whatever it is I have theft. Anyone else ever feel the same way?

Monday, March 24, 2008, 11:48:45 PM- Worn Out On Monday
It was if I could never quite get in gear all day. No, I wasn't tired or anything but usually I can get wound up and the day flies by but not today.

Tonight I'm looking forward to just chilling out in front of TV and putting my feet up.. relaxing! Anything wrong with that?

Sunday, March 23, 2008, 7:29:02 PM- Easter day
It's just totally wrong to wake up and see it snowing outside on Easter morning. It didn't stick on the ground but the flakes were big and fluffy. It's just wrong.

Today I'm installing new Roman shades but then I saw that the window trim needed refinishing. That lead to me doing a boat load of sanding and I'm just beginning. The weather sucks outside so at least this is a inside job. What should have been a 20 minute job is turning into a whole day affair.

At least it'll look good when it's done. While at Home Depot I picked up new window hardware. No job is too small to become a true production.

Saturday, March 22, 2008, 8:33:39 PM- Stres Filled Week Is Over!
Now that it's Saturday afternoon I can look back and see that this week was one stress filled week. But it's over! However, I feel as though I was on top of my game. Guess, it all goes with the program.

Yesterday I even had to jump into the warehouse and help with the manual labor. By the time I got home it felt like someone had beaten me up with a 2 x 4! I'm getting too old for that type work but I never let on at work. That hot shower I took when I got home felt like the best ever!

Last night the three of us went out to dinner and had a wonderful time talking and just interacting. When my daughter is home the dynamics of the house seems to climb upward a few notches. She's really quite funny.
