Today marks the 30th anniversary of a child being freed from daily torture & abuse. Even family court were failing the child, until turning into the possesed creature they were destined to be if left
..left in that environment. We tried all we could but until the child turned the judge was still ordering a remain in that environment where the child was being slowly destroyed.
That's just is Mojo, it was a sad story turning into a lesson from a child to adults & systems involved failing them. The ending was far from sad, ok perhaps humiliating to the adults & systems.
No it isn't. We're concerned about money, power, sex, being up to date with latest fashions, TV shows/movies, image/popularity & successfully destroying another. But we're the most intelligent.
Easy to say Mrs T as grown up. Too often kids are alone, lack of maturity & knowledge on how to do or even know they have the right to do anything. I've witnessed too many similar cases.
Often said my piece to support removal from such environments, other factors were more primordial. Take a kid to care = money to feed, house, dress, medical bills & that's for years.
This isn't about being liked D but simply that I remember this date as I remember other as an exceptional wake up call & learning curve that they can be so much more clever and stronger than us.
