my first "real" job was at Dairy Queen. Though I'd done baby sitting and score keeping before that

I was 16, and got a job as a sales trainee at a franchise car dealership. Turne dout that meant I got to wear a tie while washing cars..

A bit grizzled, the star has lost its luster...but like a fine bronze statue, I persevere against all odds (and weather)

gas pumping led to car maintenence which led to tire store and auto repair.... mufflers, front end repair, brakes.. skills are awesome to have

Dairy Queen!!! I love their cakes, mm. I worked at an Italian restaurant as a hostess. Also baby sat and kept score for a basketball team but those two were not well paid positions

I still love the ice cream there lol. Oooh I always used to wish I could get a job in a fancier restaurant lol. And I agree... totally underpaid positions!

Every time I go back to that area, I always go back to that restaurant. First time I felt a kick I had lunch there... we never forget our first jobs
