Took car to aircon mechanic, he says it needs new compressor, new condenser and new hoses, Cost $1.300.00. Went to another for 2nd opinion. Compressor ok, condenser ok.
i cant see the tell tale signs? but is the cheap version worth it? will it still cack itself under load in december? not stikin up fp ferst guy cooz i cant see it meselfs
The cheaper one pressure tested the whole system with nitrogen and says it's ok except a small split in one hose. He also warranties his work for twelve months. I couldn't see why all the hoses
nitrogen? ah doubt that ? freon is refrigerant or synthetic freon now [even lpg will work] .... he warrants his werk, not the other hoses bustin or compressor seal he dint touch any that
No wodes, definintly tested with nitrogen. Watched him do it. Recovered any remaining refrig first. If you check on the net there is also a standard for doing this with r-134a systems.
