I went shopping on Saturday while we were getting dumped on by Mother Nature. Bought stuff for my bike-windshield and saddlebags. Now if only Spring would get here......

but I never managed to get the motorcycle ride in.
We shopped for new appliances with part of our tax return so that was fun. The ones I have are almost 20 years old so it was time.
Took my car to the dealer for some repairwork. As usual only part of it was still under warranty. After they told me it was fixed and I gave them $400 on the way home it was still having problems with a squealing sound when I applied the brakes. So I just turned around and took it back. The Service guy tried to tell me it was normal for it to make this noise after being serviced that it would stop. I said no that was the noise it was making when I brought it in. So they keptmy car for another day. My son offered up his Mustang GT for mom to drive so I said sure!

Back to work tomorrow after being off for 5 days.
But I only have to work 4 days til the weekend.

It was a great trip even though I never did make it to Texas.
We did make it to Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee then back to Missouri. We took the "scenic route". Stopping at what ever place that looked interesting.
Managed to do 1100 miles in 3 days.
It was FUN!
I am still off work tomorrow so I am spending my day shopping for new kitchen appliances. The fridge & stove I have we bought new in 1992 so I think I am due.
Tax returns are good for something.

I only have to work 3 days this week!
Heading south and hoping there is no snow there.
The weather guy says we might get up to 2" tonight.
