I was hoping for a quiet day for a change but ended up with a couple of the kids here today. I think they were waiting for an invite to dinner but we were staying in and having left overs from yesterdays BBQ.
I did get a motorcycle ride in this afternoon which was quite nice but it would be more enjoyable with a partner to ride with me. Kind oflike sex is more fun with two instead of one!

I got to go back to work today but the day got cut short.
Severe thunder storm and tornado warnings were going on and Management told us that anyone that wanted to leave was free to do so. Some of us stayed but all of the production staff left. Not much point after that.

Another day in paradise....

got extended to 5 days. The bad storm that went through the area knocked out the power to our plant. Two transformers were blown so we had to wait until the electric company could replace them. So woohoo!!

Drove straight home from Dallas to Missouri via Little Rock.
I am glad I made that choice with all that had happened in Joplin. Still had some severe weather in Northern Arkansas.
It is good to be home though.

The trip has been great since we got here. The drive through Oklahoma absolutely sucked. The rain was never ending. It made the long drive even longer. Getting to see my son has been wonderful.
We did have a nice dinner and visit with Lovitt and his lovely lady. We had a wonderful food, good laughs. L. Thank you for the cold beer!!
Tomorrow we leave Dallas and head for Little Rock.
