Weather prediction for last night was a dusting. We ended up with about 5 inches. I think the weather man uses the Magic 8 Ball to see if it is going to snow.

My day was good though. My son surprised today with a brand new dishwasher. Then he actually installed for me too.

My work shut down early today and will be closed tomorrow.
So far though all we have had is rain and some glazing.
It is supposed to start in the morning with the ice, then sleet then lots of snow.

The Governor has activated my son's National Guard Unit.

Weatherman is predicting ice storm to be followed by 8-12 inches of snow. I wonder if the weatherman will be right this time??

Looks like we are getting a break from the deepfreeze for a couple of days. I am tired of snow. I wish the sun would come out and melt some of it.

Last week the weatherman promised snow and we hardly got any. This week he predicted a little snow and we got twice as much.
How many jobs are there where you can be so wrong and still keep a job?
I took a snowday, going to stay home and make cupcakes.

Yesterday was the little ones 4th birthday. Hard to believe the time has gone by so quickly. The only shadow to the happy event was it also marks 4 years since my brother died. I hope he knows that we are taking good care of her.
