I was having a dream this morning, about something that could really help humanity. Then I woke up, and within 5 seconds it was gone from my memory. I wonder how many other great ideas have been lost due to faulty memory retention. Thank God some people DO remember great ideas, or humanity would never benefit. ~ | ||

I was almost out of laundry detergent, dryer sheets and shower cleaner. I go to the store and buy a 1.31 gallon bottle of laundry detergent (I like to have enough to last me for a while) and 1 64 oz. bottle of shower cleaner (same reason). Half way home I realize I forgot the dryer sheets. And I'm out of those. I'll just buy some somewhere else. Maybe it's just me, but I'd feel a bit silly going into a huge store and just buying dryer sheets. This is why I started carrying lists with me, instead of trying to keep track in my head. ~ | ||

July 20th, 1969. Neil Armstrong climbs down that ladder and makes history. I was 16 and working at McDonald's. We brought in a 13" black and white t.v. and when history happened the crew was crowded around the t.v. to watch - except one kid who had to go out and wait on our only customer. I wonder today how he tells the story of that night. ~ | ||
