As I wrote yesterday, coffee and soda with caffeine give me heartburn, while tea does not. An internet search shows that it's the acidity in coffee and the 'fizz' in soda that causes the heartburn. Tea, while containing more caffeine than the others, is low in acidity. Search was rendered and answers were supplied. That and a dollar might get you a cheap cup of joe. ~ | ||

Colas and coffee contain caffeine. Tea contains even more. I can drink tea without it bothering me, but can't drink cola or coffee without getting massive heartburn. Someday I'll figure it out (I hope). ~ | ||

My sister lives in California. I live in Indiana. We have both reached the age where we have everything we want, so at Christmas time we send each other a card with some cash for a lunch later on. Mine takes (usually) 3 days to get to her. Hers always takes a week to get here. That's just the way it is. I figure it's because there's a higher volume of mail to process there. I sent her a small gift this year. It arrived in 3 days. She sent me one, too. A week later it hasn't arrived yet. She was promised it would be here by Sunday (yesterday). I'm still waiting... ~ | ||
