He wrote the oldie "Splish Splash" in 20 minutes and his biggest hit was "Mack the Knife". He was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Kevin Spacey did a fine job portraying him in the 2004 movie Beyond the Sea". ~ | ||||||
