I always chuckle a bit whenever we get a new President and half the people start saying: "He's not MY President!" Right or wrong, he IS. What are you going to do... live your life for 4 years without a leader? The earliest President I remember was Eisenhower. I've seen good and bad since, and though I don't always agree with their politics, one thing remains true: They were and now ARE my President and I would, should I have to, take a bullet for them. It is out of respect for the office... not the (sometimes) man. There. Case closed. Anything else you want to bitch about? ~ | ||||||

...another WTF? moment: Driving along a country road, when I approach the top of a hill. A brief YIKES rush when I start to go airborne because the hill drops straight down! Regaining my composure (and the road), I start to brake, because the road is flooded at he bottom of the hill. As the water rises up towards the windows of my car, I wonder if I can make it across without stalling out. And then... I wake up! As we used to say when I was a kid: FAR OUT! ??? | ||
