Stopped into the local barbershop Friday for a trim. Barbers talk... a lot! lol One of the reasons I love barbershops is because it's one of the last places men can go and just be men. Any way, my barber said something simple, yet deep while I was there. He said: "I believe that the vast majority of people in the world are good people. I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle, eating what's good for me and working out three times a week, plus walking every day. BUT... On a three day weekend, I will eat and drink anything and everything that is NOT good for me. Some people will say no, but I call it living. Well, it got up to 75 degrees today. I took a drive and just drank in all of the flowers and trees blooming, and all of the ladies walking around in short skirts and shorts. Smiles aplenty! Definitely missing my old '64 Chevy Impala convertible on days like this. And when I do, I also think of this song: Man.... I lived that song! ~ | ||||||
