Laid-back, easy going guy until my passions are aroused. I've been here 3 other times... I keep trying to get it right, I guess. lol

Some towns have annual snow softball games for charity. I'd like to see them do it here in my town. Dress warmly... and a shot of whiskey every now and then wouldn't hurt, either. I'm in! ~

... could a fictional band have the number 1 song for 1969: And why not? We've had a man who once quit politics sneak into the White House (Richard Nixon), an actor become President (Ronald Reagan) and now a three time bankrupt business man achieve the highest office. Doesn't sound so crazy after all. ~

I didn't hit one damn number in the lottery drawing last night. Sometimes I think it's a waste of time, but... You can't win if you don't play. I just think of it as my retirement fund. ~

I always chuckle a bit whenever we get a new President and half the people start saying: "He's not MY President!" Right or wrong, he IS. What are you going to do... live your life for 4 years without a leader? The earliest President I remember was Eisenhower. I've seen good and bad since, and though I don't always agree with their politics, one thing remains true: They were and now ARE my President and I would, should I have to, take a bullet for them. It is out of respect for the office... not the (sometimes) man. There. Case closed. Anything else you want to bitch about? ~
