Corporations and their rules. I know that corporations have tons of rules to protect themselves (even though they say it's to protect employees) from being sued. I understand that. It makes sense business-wise. Some are silly, as in no shorts in the plant in warm weather. Where it's always 20 degrees hotter inside than the temperature outside. The plant where I work afternoons usually lets that one go. Except for today, when corporate big shots will be here all day long. Oh! And it's supposed to be about 90 degrees outside today. Again, I understand. But it doesn't mean I bloody well have to like it! Rant is over and I feel a little bit better. If I don't melt tonight, I'll be back. ~ | ||

I've been looking for a newer car lately. A little smaller and better on gas mileage. Was talking about that with the maintenance guy where I live and he said he had just what I am looking for. The price quoted was in my wheelhouse, too. This was Friday afternoon. I told him to bring it by on Saturday. Today, I sat here all day waiting for him to show. Needless for me to go in to detail, but I am very much disappointed. | ||||||

Amazing! No weird clothing or hairstyles at Walmart yesterday. Everyone at least LOOKED normal. Wednesday afternoons must be the safest time to shop there without being bombarded by the crazies.
