Unfortunately, some of my generation were the parents who made their children feel entitled.


I see people in their 50s sitting at break time at tables staring at their phones where I work.

Cell phones ARE addicting!

Tweaked my back lifting weights yesterday. It's hard to sleep when your back won't untighten. Today I'm wearing a back brace and walking like an eighty year old man.

Work tonight will be an adventure.

I was walking up the stairs from the basement laundry room Saturday. I hear intense knocking on th back door of my building. I look and see a little girl who's head barely comes up to the window.

I start to walk to let her in or at least ask who she is looking for, when she shakes her head no hard and shoos me away with her hands.

I turned to go when she once more starts knocking again. This time the door not three feet away opens and her Grandmother (I think) opens the door for her. She rather haughtily raises her head and walks by the lady and into her apartment.

I'm glad she got inside where she wanted to go. I'm glad she was raised not to just talk to strangers (me).

But with that attitude, I hope her knuckles are sore today. lol

An 18 year old girl squats down on the other side of the glass door you were getting ready to enter and starts cleaning the glass... and smiles at you.

Dirty?

And if it is, is it her being dirty or me for seeing it that way?

Sunshine, 76 degrees and a gentle breeze.

Too bad I have to go to work after while. But... working evenings, I get to enjoy the days while others are stuck inside.

I'll take it. My cup is over half full!

It's official.

I can no longer drink, then eat rich foods without waking up hours later with diarrhea.

Had a computer glitch earlier today, but through sheer stubborness not to give up I fixed it.
