When was the last time you had a good slug of a red pop?

I bought a turkey breast for myself to cook for Thanksgiving. It cost $9.32. I could have had a whole bird for twice that amount, but I know I'd never eat it all.

Still, it was hard not to buy it. Just my luck now I'll have a surprise guest or two show up Thanksgiving day.

... or "O" face. Started with the Japanese, now teen girls are making videos just showing the "O" face.

What will they think of next?

Every time I go shopping, like today, it takes me longer to check out than to actually gather my purchases.

And now, being holiday season, it will take longer than any other time of year.

The lines were even longer for self checkout.

I have been trying the little trick that voyeurlover told me about for my vertigo problem: a couple of drops of alcohol and peroxide in each ear three times a day.

I can already feel the difference when I start to get out of bed. Thanks for the tip, voyeurlover!

We had an ice storm last night. I awoke this morning with the power out, so I got up and reset the clocks and went back to bed. No sooner had I got back into bed than the power flickered again. So I got up once more to reset the clocks, cursing the electric company while doing so.

Fully awake by now, I showered and shaved, then checked the weather. It was above freezing, so I ventured outside and cleared the ice off of my windows, headlights and tail lights of my car.

I fixed my lunch for work and brewed some coffee to sip while I was on the computer. My computer then decided not to start. Finally, a screen came up with options of how to fix the problem. I searched for errors that could be fixed. Windows didn't have a clue, so I did a system restore. All went well and now I'm back online.

I still have to go to work today... I wonder what's in store when I get there?

I'm thinking positive, fingers crossed, that the worst is behind me now.

The weather people keep predcting snow, but as yet, we haven't had any.

C'mon, can't you people get ANYTHING right?

Stan Lee has passed away at age 95. Did you like Spiderman, the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, The Avengers (just to name a few) growing up reading the comics? Thank Stan Lee. His imagination helped to inspire the imagination of several generations.

Rest in peace, Stan. Your gift to us can never be repaid.

Turns out my inner ear thing is Vertigo, caused by a buildup of something in my inner ear. Can't take medication for it, I just have to wait for it to break up and heal on its own.

Not a major illness, just irritating.

Due to blackout rules by the NFL, I can watch neither the Chicago Bears nor the New England Patriots... I must settle for the local (ugh) Colts. So I'm leaving to get petrol and run some errands.
