This dream from last night harkens back to similar dreams from school: I'm standing in front of a crowd on stage at a Spelling Bee. The word I'm to spell is so long that I can't even pronounce the word, let alone spell the word. I'm so glad those old school days are gone. Now, if I could just get rid of the dreams, too, I'd be much happier. ~ | ||

Well, something else will soon disappear from my life. Seyfert's has been making potato chips in Ft. Wayne, Indiana since 1934. deemed no longer profitable, production will soon cease. I've eaten them all my life and always thought that Lay's potato chips were the only other brand that could come close to their taste. And so it goes... goodbye, old friend! | ||||||

Being a Boston Red Sox fan in Indiana is difficult. Most baseball fans here where I live are either Reds, Cubs, White Sox or Cardinals fans. Watching the Red Sox on t.v. is even more difficult... unless they're playing their rival, the New York Yankees. So I decided to do something about it. I purchased MLB.tv and can watch them any time I want on any device. I am now one VERY happy fan. | ||

There is, and always has been, another world seen on the other side of mirrors. mostly, we don't pay attention. Well, the other day I finally noticed. Someone, somehow, has replaced my other world twin with an old man! His mere presence mocks me. He does everything I do, no matter where I am. But, there's a look in his eyes that says he enjoys belittling me. I can't shake him. He won't go away. Please! Just go somewhere else and bring back the younger man I know is there! Oh Lord, what am I to do? Acceptance is NOT an option. Until my other self returns, I will use every ounce of my imagination to see what I know is there, somewhere. Defiance is now my motto... I will not give in and let that old man win. ~ | ||
