Laid-back, easy going guy until my passions are aroused. I've been here 3 other times... I keep trying to get it right, I guess. lol

Saturday will be a triple header of the Foreign Legion. 'March or Die', with Gene Hackman, 'Legionnaire' with Jean Claude Van Damme and 'Beau Geste', the 1939 classic with Gary Cooper. I hope I can keep the sand out of my boots. ~

| Tuesday, April 14, 2020, 6:54:32 PM- Wait! | ||
Sunday I broke the floater in my toilet tank while trying to adjust the water level. Monday I called the landlord for a plumber. Today (Tuesday) I had to wait 4 hours for him to show up and perform a 5 minute replacement job. I'm not complaining. It was worth the wait. Now I don't have to turn on the water to fill the tank, then turn it off after flushing each time I use the toilet. One more 'load' (pun intended) off my mind. ~

the lesser of two evils. There are two songs that define where my head is at these days. "The Pretender" by Jackson Browne and this little ditty: Just a peak inside the madness of my mind. ~

Or Saturday. The time stamps on these things are on European time, I think. Not important. First off, we now have to have our temperature taken before we can enter the doors to work. I can't complain. They walk out to your car, point the thermometer gun at your forehead and if your reading is not high you get a little sticker (color coded for the day of the week) to put on your key card (a picture I.D. card that let's you in/out of locked doors). Cautious? Maybe, but at least you know you're not sick. Secondly, I saw an article online today (Friday? Saturday? Sorry, I'm digressing) that read how we could lessen the ozone layer input if we switched from beef to beans in our daily diet. I don't know about you, but it seems to me, with my experience of eating beans, that it would lead to an increase of methane gasses. Just one man's opinion. ~

I heard this classic on my car radio on my way home from work last night. It had me thinking of a girl my buddy dated in college from the town of the same name. What stands out about this video is seeing ZZ Top performing without their style of wearing sunglaases: Enjoy! ![]()

I am an optimist and a romantic. When this nightmare surrounding us now finally ends, this will be my new theme song: Keep the faith, y'all! ![]()

My answer for the social distancing predicament: Stand alone in a field and sing, or laugh, or scream your damn head off! ~
