I read something interesting in the newspaper today. Young people are having less sex. According to the medical journal JAMA Network Open, published Friday a survey of 4,000 men and 5,000 women reports that frequency of sex among young people decreased from 18.9% to 30.9% among 18 to 24 year olds from the years 2000 to 2018. The reason? Adolescents and young people are taking longer to mature to adulthood. I don't think the lack of sex bothers me, but taking longer to grow up definitely does. ~ | ||

This is an actual conversation this morning while in the shower: (unidentified voice) - "Hello, maintenance." Me: "I'm in the shower." Maintenance: "I'm here to clean the filter in your air conditioner." Me: "I don't use the air conditioner." Silence for a moment, then: Maintenance: "Oh, sorry. I see there's a note here that you clean your own." Me: "Yep, it's next to the bed and too damn loud." Maintenance: "Oh, okay. I'll lock up on the way out." And then, apologetically: "Have a nice shower." What a maroon. ~ | ||

I watched the movie "Lovelace" yesterday. It's the true story of Linda Lovelace, who only did one porn movie, but it will forever be remembered: "Deep Throat". Poor girl. I'm glad she had a (pun intended) happy ending. ~ | ||||||

I decided to do a load of laundry before I go to work today. Mistake. My next door neighbor has a habit of doing a load and letting it sit in the washer or dryer while she's off doing something else. Laundry facilities are for EVERYONE, not just you, sister. Friday is off to a great start. | ||
