We got 10 1/2 inches of snow here. I got stuck 3 times trying to get home. The parking lot where I live was not plowed, so I got stuck trying to park. A BIG thank you to all of the people who stopped and helped me make it home. Today, the lot was plowed... some. I got my car unstuck and shoveled some snow. If it snows again in the next few days I will retire and become a hermit until spring. ~ | ||

Latest on the snow: Looks like about 4 or 5 inches on the ground, with more coming down. In about an hour and a half, I will journey outside to clear off and start my car. Then I will drive in to work. No word of a closing down, but I anticipate few people coming in, so I'll do a little 'spiffing' up then come home. I have electricity, heat and food. What more do I need? ~ | ||

I wouldn't be a weatherman (or person) if I valued public opinion. They get their forecasts wrong so many times. Today it was predicted snow flurries at best. So of course we got over an inch of snow. Meteorologist? I can predict the weather better with my aching knees or my sinuses. | ||
