I had a cup of English Breakfast Tea (name on package) this morning. While drinking the tea, it dawned on me that I don't remember ever having seen other types of tea sold as either English lunch or dinner tea. I did an internet search and could find no other types of specific English 'meal' teas. I have thus concluded that English Breakfast Tea is a marketing ploy. How ingenious... like promoting southern cornbread or New England clam chowder. Kudos to the person who thought up the idea. I hope they received a bonus for tricking us consumers. BTW - the tea tasted like tea. Nothing special about it. ~ | ||
