Laid-back, easy going guy until my passions are aroused. I've been here 3 other times... I keep trying to get it right, I guess. lol

Whenever I exchange emails with an old friend or family member, they usually ask for pictures. I have quite the library: Family, friends, old historical pictures of my hometown, celebrities and funny pics i find to share with people on FB. It takes me longer to sift through pictures to attach on emails than it does to write an email. lol Such is my life - collecting and sharing. ~

| Monday, May 16, 2022, 6:23:28 PM- No more ripping! | ||
I found a small paper shredder online, cost was around $40.00. The reason it took so long to find one was that companies were asking to much for the cross cut model I wanted. I ordered it, I got it and right away used it. I'm always receiving junk mail from people wanting me to buy something I either don't want or don't need. Usually I would open the mail, tear out anyplace that had my name & address on it, then rip those into little pieces before depositing in my trash. No more! Now I just plug in the shredder, turn it on and feed everything to be cut into little pieces. Ah, how I love the sound of my life being made simpler. ![]()

I hadn't thought of Clark, the talking dog for awhile, but then I read online about a world Record Great Dane and his coloring reminded me of Clark. Still makes me chuckle. ![]()

I have a decent memory. I have four codes memorized for entrance through secure doors - 3 at work and 1 for the front door of the building I live in. Once a month I pay my t.v., internet and phone bill online. Everything is bundled, to make it easier. Every month I log in. Every month the website gives me a message: "Let's make sure it's you." They then send a code to my phone to enter to confirm it's me, even though I have the box checked that says this is the computer I use all the time. Why? Someone is not paying attention. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to pay my bill. I won't waste your time telling you about all of the offers for new products or services I have to get rid of. I, unlike my friends at AT&T, don't want to waste your time. ~

Monday is beginning to look ominous: I dropped the soap in the shower. I dropped the can of shaving cream while I was shaking it. I dropped one of my shoes I was going to put on my foot. I dropped a freshly cut tomato on the floor. I dropped the lettuce container into the soapy water of the sink. I dropped my car keys as I was putting them into my pocket. And I haven't left for work yet. All of these drops on a Monday. It's like a sign I should get a lucky rabbit's foot. ![]()

| Sunday, May 8, 2022, 8:16:29 PM- The game was rigged | ||
My first year of little League, I played on a team the went 2-12. I had the second best batting average on the team. The best average was by our shortstop. The coach's son was the pitcher. He pitched every game and threw nothing but curveballs (I know. I had to catch him one game and no matter what sign you put down, that's all he through... and they weren't good ones, either. Hence the 2-12 record). At the end of the season, two players from each team were selected for the All Star team that would play the league champions. Our shortstop was picked. Guess who the other All Star was? That's right - the coach's son. Sometimes it's not how good you are, but who you know that counts. A lesson learned at an early age. ~
