My interview last week came to close this week. But then I got an unexpected interview from another place. Give and take I guess.

What I need is one experience to make me forget all this stress. Got any ideas?

Monday, April 30, 2012, 4:11:40 PM- Day one

This morning I dropped my wife off at the airport and she's gone until a week from Tuesday. Now I'm trying to rush and get everything done that needs doing early today because my own plans have changed.

It seems I have some emergency child care in my immediate future. So I'm off to my son's house to do what is required. I've packed for two nights. This was not in the schedule as of yesterday but you do what you have to do.

Yesterday we really had some terrible weather. For a while we were in the basement due to potential tornadoes. Today the weather is just so gloomy. So far I'm just puttering around the house trying to stay busy. Tomorrow the wife leaves for 8 days. Maybe that's a good thing.

Yesterday I had a great interview. It lasted much longer than intended and became more of a discussion rather than an interview. We just sort of hit it off and seemed to stress free. The culture at their firm matched what I was searching for. This could be it. I am excited about the possibilities.

The positives don't stop there. This is a better job than my last. A much bigger and better company. I am stoked!

I laid in bed trying to sleep until 4:00 this morning. Got up at 6:30. This is a cycle I need to break because it's beginning to kill me. It would hurt to have a love life. Did I mention it was raining today?

Last night we went to a wedding at a vineyard. OMG! They had an outdoor ceremony and it was freaking cold! Good thing it was short and sweet has everyone rushed to get back indoors.

Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 10:36:07 PM- My daughter saved a life today!

A older gentlemen walked up to her at work and said he wasn't feeling very well. A few seconds later he collapsed on the ground and then vomited before passing out. She immediately did a quick examination and saw he wasn't breathing. She called 911 and started chest compressions until the paramedics arrived.

She stopped when the paramedics took over. They were still working on him but thought he would make it. The charge paramedic said he was suffering from a major heart attack and that she probably saved his if he made it to the ER.

After she told me this on the phone I told her how proud I was of her. I really was! She said she should be used to this since it was her 3rd time doing this. What? You've done this before I asked? She's in sports training!

It seems like a lot of people are waiting until the very last second before they do their taxed this year. I can just feel the stress in the air. Do you know how to get rid of that stress?
