I got home from a LONG day working on my food truck and as usual The Wife met me in the driveway and helped me back the rig in. She has started moving to plug up the rig as soon as I get it parked which is nice. So I found out yesterday that sometime before the end of the year, I will need to have shoulder surgery. This will be roughly a 6 month recovery with no work for probably 4 months. The Wife is completely freaked out about it - not the no work part - but just the surgery. I am worried about the no work part, but I will manage.
The reality is, she will most likely use it as another reason for us to not have sex on a regular basis - she seems to look for new reasons. Something has to change. I know I have said this for the entire 10+ years that I have been posting here, but at least there have been a few somewhat progressive discussions with her this year.
The Wife is starting a weight loss program so we will see if that helps and she is getting injections in her hip to help with that plus we have 2 vacations planned before the end of the year.

The past 2 nights have been somewhat strange. Well, this actually took place about a week and a half ago. I said that I was no longer happy with our situation and wanted to separate - she started to cry and asked why to which I pointed out the obvious, NO SEX! When you wake up with Morning Wood (not normal for me due to certain medications) and know that there is no way it is getting any use.

Thursday, May 27, 2021, 10:57:59 AM- last week

It has been an interesting couple of weeks. Last Tuesday I slipped and tore my Rotator Cuff which makes it rather difficult to cook so I ended up hiring a cook which is expensive and not really in my budget.
