My shoulder is much better now, but it tends to be quite painful first thing in the morning. So....since I work nights what I have been doing is, when I wake up early I have been taking a couple of painkillers and going back to bed (now these meds are AWESOME!!) They knock me side-ways and I really do have to be in bed to take them.

So, this morning I did this and went back to bed. A couple of hours later my door went, so I jumped out of my bed and stumbled towards the door. I looked through the spy-hole and saw through my blurry eyes a delivery guy.

"Great" I thought, I'd ordered a new phone from e-bay and that was it being delivered. I started to open the door, but luckily the door stuck a little bit so I had to look down to the handle to figure out what was going on...(remember these meds are GOOOOOOODDDDD!!!!)

I looked from my hand, to my bare arm, to my waist, and bare legs before I realised I had just opened the door with absolutely NO clothes on.

I nearly collapsed on the spot, but luckily I was still behind the door, so I just looked around it and said "Gimmie a minute....AAAAhhhhhh"

Talk about close encounters!!!

Well, the good news is that there is nothing broken. Just very badly bruised and inflamed and very painful too!! I will have to take tonight off work again but am going to try and go back tomorrow. The only problem is that there is a lot of heavy lifting at work so I will have to really watch what I am doing.

Since it is so nice and sunny today I think I may go and sit outside for a little bit, my comp isn't working properly just now anyway and keeps switching itself off for some reason. So I will switch it off now before it pisses me off again by doing it while im in the middle of something.

I think I have finally developed an allergy to sleeping.

I didn't sleep at all last night, and only managed a few hours through the day before going to work earlier tonight (or yesterday to be precise!)

It is once again 2:45am and here I am again sitting in a quiet and dark room reading blogs and forums, but still no sleep for me!!

lol...maybe I should try that age old tradition of actually going to BED......

At work tonight, sometimes they muck everybody's shifts around so I was working with people tonight I haven't met before.....

Now you have to remember it is quite a noisy environment we are working in. This guy walked up to me and after chatting for a few minutes asked my name, so I said "Mel"

he said (WELL....I THOUGHT HE SAID) "Pam"

me....."NO, Mel"

him....."Pam"

me...."NOOOOOO.....Mel"

you get the idea, well this went on for about 2 minutes, before it hit me!!

He wasn't saying "Pam" he was saying "I'm Tam"

DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH,.........super blonde moment for me there then!....I just laughed and told him not to worry because I can be a bit of a dumbo sometimes...and boy did I feel it there!!

We were all going to the V Festival and it was my turn to drive this time, so to relieve quite a boring drive I decided to drive totally naked and I forgot to take any clothes with me too. You can imagine the looks we got from the other cars on the way there and the guys at the gates didn't even want to look at my ticket on the way into the festival itself......lol

Damnnn.....then I woke up....I'm gonna try to go back to sleep for this one!!

So far this morning I spent at least 2 hours crawling around on the floor under my desk.....(lol)

I bought myself a new nose stud since I lost the one I was wearing at the weekend, I was just putting it in and dropped it and even after 2 hours of crawling around I still can't find it!! GGGGrrrrrrrrrrr

I just got a phone call from the school (AGAIN) and had to go and pick up my eldest because she has hurt her back this time. It seems to be something every week with her just now, she really is the clumsiest person I know.

There goes my quiet and peaceful afternoon then!!!

My weekend was all a bit of a drunken blur...lol, well I suppose it was my way of celebrating week one of work!!

We went to see the Da Vinci Code yesterday, I thought it was brill...except for the 20 minutes or so that I fell asleep, but like I said the weekend was a heavy one so my excuse is that i was still recovering.
The kids were off school yesterday but they went swimming with my friend so at least we got some peace and quiet for a bit before I started work last night.

I have so much to do but just can't get into the right frame of mind right now to do any of it.....

I've just remembered I gotta phone the vets for the dog....better go do that I spose!!

with my new courtesy car.....YAYYYY....I finally got one!

I'm now back on the road and ready to go again. My poor feet are wondering why I have been so evil to them lately, but now they can recover a little again...(well, except from working but I'm sure they will get used to that soon...lol)

I'm not really enjoying the job, but it pays some bills so it will have to do just now. I think tonight could be a tough one!
