Hello friends.

The disappointment was terrible, all our dreams away. After two months of this, a summer afternoon, I received a phone call... You can imagine our joy after all this

I believe that analyzing everything, but has not obtained the floor model I wanted, I think we've been very lucky throughout the process, and I will tell you that we are very happy with the housing we have achieved...

Hello friends.
I wanted to talk about this a few days ago...
Tomorrow will be a very important day for us, we have been waiting over two years for this... Hello friends.
I try to steal away some of my problems, I think by now I've thought a lot. So...
I am going to speak about our gerbils... my God! they gnaw everything! They are destroying the cage! In the shop they told us we put some things to chew, I bought a wooden banana for this, but do not do much... the other day I gave them a cardboard toilet paper roll that they play, they began to gnaw one on each side and disappeared in moments.
Now I want to present these two beasts. Lol

This is Ash of the two is the more confident, this does not mean that he has great confidence in me, but when I put food in your feeder, is the first to come see this happening, it's a gerbil, extremely curious, I think is responsible for most of the damage of the cage...

And this is Krusty, as you can imagine, the name is in honor of the clown in the Simpsons, my son loves this series (me too), is slightly smaller in size than his friend, but is extremely mischievous, in the exact moment I put food in the trough, he comes and spreads all over the floor, I can do many times, but the result is always the same: The food scattered on the floor. He is tremendously fast, it's impossible to catch him, when they go over my hand, runs to go to a safe place...

Yesterday I did a simple question on the blog, for two reasons, I am trying to write some days ago about this, but I'm getting a little lazy at the time of writing, well... lazy and perhaps, demanding * think *, lately, I think to write about some things, but ended discarding the idea because it does not seem interesting enough. By making the question yesterday, I force myself to write to explain

About three weeks ago was the birthday of my son, wow seven years... from a few months ago he was saying he wanted to have a pet, my house is very small, no place for pets, and I'll be honest, not ever have been willing to put the effort to care for animals, but as you can imagine, the child finally convinced us to buy a pet...

We decided that the most appropriate, and less work involved, could be a couple of small turtles, and after a tortuous work to convince the child ... Last Saturday, we went to the pet store, the child came as a ray nervously looking for your turtles, even asked the clerk about them ... Oh disappointment, the clerk told us that now is the time of birth of the turtles and were not available, the child's eyes turned to glass, even a tear ran down her cheek, trying to calm him down we walked into the store, and ... There was the showcase of gerbils, I believe that I had never seen one (I'm a city boy) but I must admit I fell in love the moment I saw the child as well, but my wife ... she did not really like animals (so far, lol).
Finally ... Two male gerbils (do not want offspring), premium stock food for gerbils, extra fine sand so the animals take sand baths (???), wood shavings for bedding, and fully equipped cage (wheel training , gateway to climb up stairs, trough, water reservoir, the outer tube) ...

A condition of compliance was essential that the child has to take care of all animal care ... Lol. I think from now I have two new children: Krusty and Ash.

Ever watch them at my house ... now the national sport is, observation of gerbils: Dad, Ash will not move ... It's okay son, he is asleep, Dad, Krusty has spilled the food ... It's OK son, now collect, Dad ...

I have intention of making a picture, but I will not use the flash on them, but find a way to do it ...

I repeat my question: Does anyone know anything about gerbils? Lol.
