in my life i've seen the sadness of famous people dying 2 young
actors, comedians, singers
they give us so much n they are gone
sometimes brought on by not being able 2 handle it all
n some times out of their control
today is elvis's birthday
some of his stuff
was a bit before my time but I lived down the street from him n Memphis
n he like b.b.q
will always be king n Memphis

as I get older I find this to be more n more true
im a good guy n therefore I open my heart a lot
less now than in the pass as I get older n a bit more wiser
im always nice but my real true friend list has gotten shorter over the years
maybe partly n treat people the way u want 2 be treated
n
just simply i have a feel for true hearts
so
there comes a time n life where u
walk away from drama n all the people who create it
u surround urself w people who make u laugh
forget the bad
and focus on the good
love the people who treat u right
n wish the best for the 1s who do not

wishing every1 in the u.s.a safe
n warm times the next few days
we are looking at record breaking cold weather
I talked 2 my brother today
the temp. in Memphis which is in the south
tonite will be 6 ferinheight
with a wind chill in the double minus area
i know its a lot worst up north
there is no snow n Memphis n a lot colder up there
crazy thing is Memphis will be close 2 70. by Friday.

i made it 2 florida at the right time 70s f. here

growing up as a teen I always dated girls older than me
as n adult within a couple years
I think the older u get the more u have n common w close ages

so I was reading something tonite n it mentioned
susan Sarandon she's 67 years old n beautiful
then I thought of sally field she's 67 n beautiful
then I thought of goldie hawn she's 68 n beautiful
n then dana delany just 57 n beautiful
I believe its the way they carry themselves n their smiles n out look on life
dana Delaney had/ has a show here n id watch it w my ex girlfriend
so I told her once ive always liked dana, she's a beautiful woman
so my ex said's shes old (my ex who is 54) u can tell by her neck
so I just said
ive never looked that low

it is true beauty
is in the eyes of the beholder

heart , eyes , smile, n the way u look at life

im still in Memphis
so a new years meal here is 1 of 2 things
the traditional southern 1 of ham, cabbage for money, black eyed peas 2 put 12 together n make a wish for the new year n grapes for prosperity with corn bread n other vegies.

cooking out even if its 30 f

n I got 2 be there

we only hear this song once a year
but I think it would be a great song for during the year
not everyday but in times we start over, pick ourselves up, lose ourselves n find ourselves
as in tomorrow is a new day
its always good along the way 2 refresh ourselves
and a cup of kindness makes us all smile on the inside n outside

I wanna kiss some1 on December 31st from 11:59 pm to 12:01 am, so I can have an amazing ending to 2013 and a beautiful beginning into 2014.

they are not the most beautiful by far of the things in nature
but when they are ready
they go into pupa or a cocoon state

I think there are times we feel like that caterpillar
