I cried myself to sleep last night.

I woke up crying this morning.

The day has gone horribly wrong and it's not even 7:30am. Now I have a ripping migraine and no end in sight. What did I ever do to deserve this???

Dinner for 10 tonight!

The menu: Lasagna, green salad, garlic cheese bread and I made a pineapple angel food cake for dessert. Might even throw together a pan of brownies while everyone is eating.

I am at my most content when cooking/caring for my family and friends. I love to cook and bake and it is one of the ways I show them all how much I care for for them. Brunches for 8, dinners for 10 or more - no problem. I love to entertain so any excuse to throw together a dinner or such is fine by me. I know I must be a total throw-back; if I was around during the 50's I could picture myself poring over cook books and wearing silly little hostess aprons, skirt, heels and strand of pearls and passing around a cheese ball lol!

Give me people to cook for and I am happy!!!!

Pardon me, I must check my lasagna....

Mondays blow.

I so hated for my weekend to end, I had a really nice time. The weather was good - almost 80 degrees for November! Unseasonable but I so love warm weather.

On Saturday I had a co-worker's baby shower to attend and then later we went with our SO's for ice skating for their nephew's birthday. Now I can't ice skate for SHIT. I had been on skates for a grand total of 5 minutes prior to this so I was really nervous. I did ok for a while and then bailed! I fell so hard on my ass and back, it was crazy. This is one instance when having a well-padded posterior came in handy. I had not a bruise on my bum, but I did suffer some whiplash in my neck (I threw my head forward to protect the back of my head) and I somehow managed to slice my finger on the blade of the skate. Those suckers are sharp; I didn't know I had gotten cut till I looked at my hand and saw blood all over it! I am unsafe at any speed, the Queen Of The Klutzes! After careening dangerously about on the ice, us grown-ups went upstairs to the bar and relaxed and had some snacks in front of a big delicious fire while we watched the kids skate. It felt so good to unwind and defrost. We then all piled into the cars and went back to their place and had a Family Movie Night and watched Kung Fu Panda. It was a very cute and entertaining movie.

Sunday was my day to cook brunch for all of us so I cooked a big breakfast for 7. Watched some tv, read the paper and kicked back for a while. I even got in a little nap!!! It was a slow and easy day. Pity it had to end and Monday had to happen...

I had the green light and was 3/4 of the way thru the intersection when you - on your CELL PHONE decide to scoot out in front of me. You took your sweet ass time motherfucker, I had to slam on MY brakes and swerve into the other lane to avoid hitting YOUR ass that had no business being where it was. How fortunate for me that no one was next to me. Oh and when I lay on my horn you just look at me with a vacant look on your face and your CELL PHONE still glued to your ear. IT'S CALLED HANDS-FREE for a reason you asshat! It's so fuckwits like YOU don't cause accidents with people like me because you are yammering away on your CELL PHONE and can't pay attention to the road and the traffic laws. NO RIGHT ON RED, BITCH! Read the fucking signs. Oh yeah you CAN'T cuz you are talking on your CELL PHONE. I forget that troglodytes such as yourself cannot MULTITASK.

YOU ARE AN IDIOT. I hate people like you who toddle thru life with utter disregard for anyone else who has the great misfortune to cross your path. Thank you for putting me in a bad mood and almost causing me to crash my fucking car.

Feck it's cold. Well maybe not to most but I feel chilled to the bone! I am shivering as we speak! It's like my body's thermostat is all effed up and I can't get warm. Even last night, feeling as crap as I was I still wanted sex but made poor hubby do me under the covers! I wanted no part of being unwrapped from my blankies. He did it bless his heart (and his cock, heh). The poor guy probably thought he was fucking a giant fleece-covered burrito!

It's times like this that I wish we had a jacuzzi. I would plonk myself in it and boil away like a cannibal's soup-pot....ohhhh it would be divine to be in all that hot, bubbly water, easing my poor achy bod...
