Went to court today for the baby.
Social Workers and Child advocate recommended TPR.
Judge took it under advisement but postponed things until May.
The little one remains in limbo at least until then.

Next Saturday is her first Bday. We were hoping we could give her a permanent family for her Birthday.

Thank you to all my friends that are saying a little prayer for her.

Wow it was in the 60's again today. Hard to beleive it is January. I really think Mother Nature is going to make us pay for this later though. There are already tornado warnings out for tonight.

Friends come and go.
We accept them despite their faults.
Try not let their faults becomes yours.
Just be there for them if they need you, but keep your self out of harms way.
My friend I am here if you need me, but you will not drag me down with you.
I have too much in my life to be happy & greatful for.
I wish you had the same in yours.

was a day of revelations.
You think you know someone then find you really don't.

They tell you it is the truth then when you confront them they tell you it was their variation of the truth.

Not sure if I should be mad, glad or sad.
It will be interesting to see what happens next.
I am not going to sit & worry about it. What ever the turn out is, I know I will be fine!

I managed to avoid a hangover. Not sure how though.
Went to one of the kids house and drank and played XBox 360
Kids got me to drink Jaeger Bombs with them.
I am not sure who ever thought of them but yuck!
Jeagermeister and Red Bull.
I think next time I will stick to a cold Michelob Ultra or Cptn Morgan or Absolute. Something a little easier on me.

We also played a game called Rock Band on their Xbox. I tried the base guitar position and singing. Man I was really bad, but my daughter in law is word than I am. Neither of us could carry a tune in a bucket.

Most of the world has already slipped into 2008 and midnight is just a few hours away for me.

2007 is almost over and I am glad, 2008 has to be easier.
This has been a life changing year for me with the death of a sibling. Becoming a Foster parent to a newborn.
Losing friends and making new ones.
I am hoping in 2008 I have a balanced life.

I wish much happiness to all NN folks in the coming year.
