It's too damn hot at night for decent sleep, but the house mate says the evap cooler is too noisy, so she turns off when she goes to bed. So she sleeps well, but I get next to none 
what do I do?
I would like to, but they're expensive to purchase and cost more to run.
I'm wondering if some sounds deadening stuff would work in the ceiling?
