I have a subscription to Major League Baseball TV.

I can watch all of my teams games

EXCEPT

if the game is shown on Apple TV+.

So

I want to watch the game tonight and decided to sign up for one free week of Apple TV+.

I had to set up an account.

OK, no problem, right?

WRONG.

I set up a user ID.

I have to enter a security code sent to my phone, only they have to send it twice.

I enter a password.

I have to enter a security code sent to my phone. They have to send it twice.

I'm all set up online.

I turn on my smart tv, go to the Apple TV+ app.

It doesn't accept my password.

So

I go back online.

I get two more security codes to verify my account to change my password.

I go back to my tv and this time I can sign in.

I'm all set up for tonight...

unless in the hours until game time they forget everything again.
