It started raining yesterday early, then stopped. About the time i left for work, a downpour began. It took me twice as long to get there because of the flash flooding. After it slowed down to a sprinkle, I stood out by the road on break and watched the cars driving by through 3 feet of water. Very entertaining.

It ha rained all day today and it is supposed to rain throught Sunday as well.

I'm thinking about starting on building a big boat.

Early morning rain. I was in bed listening to the thunder when there was a flash and the power went out... for about three seconds.

So I dragged my sorry butt out of bed to reset all of my clocks. That done, I turned on the t.v. to catch the morning news. That's when I realized I had set the clocks wrong, an hour ahead.

I trudged around, resetting the clocks again. Wide awake, I knew I couldn't go back to sleep.

Oh well, I took the extra time and did a few chores I'd normally do on Saturday.

My weekend just got a little brighter and lazier.

To me, being comfortable in any season is stretching out in my recliner, watching a movie or a ballgame.

Today is one of those days. I didn't want to get out of bed. I didn't want to do my yoga. I didn't want to shower and shave.

I did them any way.

I didn't want to fix my lunch for work... Hell, I didn't even want to go to work.

I prepared my lunch any way and I will be going to work.

Whenever I'm having an emotionally crappy day, I make myself stop whining and look at all the positive things I have going for me in my life.

Even when I've had a run of bad luck the good outweighs the bad in a landslide and my faith in God tells me that life will get better and it will all work out fine.

When you recognize the problem, you can come up with the answers you need to make the problems, if not go away, get better.

Depending on where you are. I read MitchandDaisy's blog. Have to agree. I come here to look and give compliments when I see a lady I like. No negative vibes... there's enough of that in the world as it is. Some posters are fake. It doesn't mean I don't enjoy looking.

As I've said today, I like to look. Sometimes I leave a comment that eludes to the fact that I will be enjoying a "private pleasure" after looking at a particular hottie. While sometimes true, a lot of that is simply to bolster egos. Weekends are the only time I have to really get into things. Guess that makes me a weekend warrior. lol

Anyway, if I didn't enjoy myself here I would have left a long time ago. As the old saying goes:

Keep the hot picks coming and I will keep coming too.

I think of it as another excuse to walk around my place naked.

Had the brakes looked at on my car today. Brakes themselves are fine, but other issues in the area need attention.. about $750.00 worth. Car is 25 years old and driveable. I just need to get into the habit of double pumping my brakes and I'll be fine.
