As I slowly get used to my Windows 10, one question remains I haven't answered yet:

How do I get the words on this model bigger?

With Windows 7, it was simple to find the menu I needed to make changes, like in size of wording and pictures, etc.

Eventually I will figure it out and achieve another minor victory in man over machine.

Monday.

I find it to be harder to get motivated for work on Mondays with each passing year.

When I pay off that last $2,000.00 of debt, Mondays will be a lot happier for me because I will be retired.

I love the sound of that word: Retired. To me it will mean freedom to do whatever I want.

Until that day that I can smile and say I'm retired, I'm keeping my eye on the prize and soldiering on.

Depending on how confused I get, I'll have my new computer hooked up.

15 minutes? 15 hours?

Only my patience will tell.

What are the odds???

Not one minute after posting how angry with FedEx I was, I see the truck pull up out front. They were starting to go across the street. I asked them if they had a package for me at this address. No, it was supposed to go across the street. I told them my name and I showed them my i.d. so I got my package - finally!

The fact that someone in the office will get yelled at for putting on the wrong address and causing the delivery man a delay is just icing on my happy cake.

Same scenario as yesterday, only getting more irate!

New computer is supposed to arrive today via FedEx. I've been waiting all day and it still hasn't gotten here as of 2:50pm.

The old saying is that a watched pot never boils.

Maybe the pot never boils, but I'm close to boiling right now.

I was lucky to get out alive a couple of times. Literally.

No sooner do I fix my printer problem, then I find out that in January 2020, Windows will no longer support Windows 7. So today I bought another refurbished computer with Windows 10.

Let's see which lasts longer, the 10 or the 'puter.

I needed to print a document Sunday, so I turned on the printer and put paper in the loading tray. I then called up the document from my files and hit print.

Nothing happened.

I really needed a hard copy of said document, so I tried to get the printer to work.

Nothing worked.

So I went to the web site and downloaded all new drivers that I needed and thought: No I've gotcha!

It still didn't work.

Thoroughly perplexed, I sat and wondered what else I could do and then it hit me...

I checked the connections and sure enough, it was a loose connection from the computer.

Feeling a bit silly, I re-connected the printer and

It worked.

As with cars, whenever something goes wrong, always start at the easiest solution first.
