Little boy walks in on Mom & Dad having sex.

He turns and runs away screaming.

The wife says: OMG! What do we do?

The husband says: I'll go talk to him.

Walking down the hall, he hears moans coming from grandma's room.

Opening the door, he finds his son banging away hard on grandma.

What are you doing, son? He screams.

His son turns his head and says:

Hurts when it's your mom, don't it?

Sunday had a NFL playoff game featuring two quarterbacks bound for the Hall of Fame one day:

Tom Brady, age 43 & Drew Brees, age 42.

At 85 years combined, the game should have been called the 'Geezer Bowl'.

It was the first and will probably be the last.

I'm glad that once more I've been able to witness history being made.

I'm giving my new air fryer a workout today, kinda.

32 degrees outside and I saw a guy riding his Harley.

Now THAT'S what I call a Freezy Rider.

At age 16, I saw 'Dick Clark's Caravan of Stars'. For a couple of years, Dick Clark (American Bandstand t.v. show) would load up some top 40 groups into some buses and they would travel around the U.S.A. in the summer.

I had a dram last night that my name was either Johnathon Taylor or Tyler.

The first is a former minor t.v. star (as in Johnathon Taylor Thomas), the second is a football player.

I couldn't see myself, so I don't know which one I was.

The main point is that my girlfriend was Kate Beckinsale.

Yes!

If I have to be another person to have the woman of my dreams...

...I'm o.k. with that.

Well past the first half of my life I was a prideful, insecure & selfish person.

And because of those things, I made a lot of decisions that didn't turn out well for myself:

I lost jobs I should have kept, kept jobs I should have quit.

I turned down opportunities that would have enhanced my life today, like joining the military to help me learn self control & responsibility. Buying my childhood home when I was offered it by my parents. Not letting the love of my life go and then marrying a needy, insecure girl who ultimately wanted me only my money.

Mark Twain said that 'Good decisions come from experience. Experience comes from making bad decisions.'

So here I am, older and just scratching the surface of wisdom.

Instead of pride, I'm learning to be humble. Instead of insecurity, I'm learning from bad experiences to make better decisions and become more confident in myself. Instead of being selfish & opinionated, I'm learning to be less judgemental, that there are two sides to every story, not to judge a book by it's cover and that in life there's a lot of gray in between seeing things in only black & white.

I hope that my long and winding road affords me the hope of making myself and the world around me a better place before I shuffle off this mortal coil.
