I've been having computer problems occasionally. Not from overheating. Just quirky little things like updates starting when I have them set to take place when I'm not online. Or suddenly losing my internet connection. After my latest problem, I sat and thought about what could be causing the difficulties. Soon enough it dawned on me. The last time I had a similar problem was right after an update. So, not to get technical, I dug up the latest updates and found a couple for things I don't need and deleted them. Today, all is as it was before. Hunky-dory, peachy-keen. I'd like to thank lipsforlips for the input. It is appreciated. My world is a brighter place when things go as they should. ~ | ||||||

My computer hates me. Updates come at inappropriate times. It shuts down for no reason occasionally. The last two days, after writing lengthy emails to a close friend, I tried to add pics. As soon as I hit the attach files button, it signed me out of my email account. Email gone. Blue language later, I retyped my email and, sans pics, sent it out just fine. Some days I long for sending regular letters in the mail.  | ||||||

First Celtics legend Bill Russell. Then Nicolle Nichols, forever Lt. Uhura on the original Star Trek series. And now Vin Scully, the voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers for 67 years has passed at 94. Time outlasts us all, leaving only memories in its' wake. ~ | ||

Bill Russell has passed away at age 88. He won two NCAA championships, an Olympic gold medal and 11 NBA championships in 13 years. First black head coach. My all time favorite center. Another hero of my youth is gone. R.I.P., Bill. ~ | ||

I am a senior citizen. I have no problem with that. It's like when my hair loss got bad enough that trying to 'hide' it looked worse than the actual me. I got over it and moved on. A lot of the people my age talk about how bad young people are today. I work around, live around and shop around young people every day. They seem to like me, what's not to like about that? The few that I meet who are disrespectful, I just smile at. They don't realize it now, but someday they'll be in my shoes. Won't they be sad! Karma can be a real bitch. ~ | ||
