I have spent time in Florida.

I don't care for the heat and the humidity.

Unless you live in the far northern part of the state you will not see snow.

I don't particularly care for snow, but Thanksgiving and Christmas wouldn't be the same for me without it.

I have several friends who have moved there over the years and have some family that have lived there their whole lives.

One of the main reasons I won't move there is for what's happening there right now.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this latest hurricane.

I'm happy I didn't waste my time or money on this stinker when it came out.

Not everyone has the same tastes in food.

I like liver & onions.

I like raw oysters.

I don't like mushrooms.

I abhor peas.

For those of you who might say these dislikes are all in my head...

I once ate a whole order of deep fried mushrooms to prove I just don't like the taste. They don't make me sick.

I can remember being 4 years old and eating only the carrots out of the peas and carrots off my plate (to the amusement of my dad).

At age 25, a night before I got paid, all I had left to eat at home was 1 large can of peas. I don't know how they got there on my shelf - I certainly didn't buy them.

I literally had no money until payday and enough gas to get me to work and then the bank.

So I heated up the peas in a pan, liberally covered them with butter, added salt and ate them as fast as I could.

I haven't eaten peas since.

I will try just about any kind of food once.

I might never eat that selection ever again.

I'm not too proud to eat anything and would, like the peas, eat them if I were desperate enough.

I just know what I prefer not to eat.

Too bad I have to deal with so much traffic on my way into work.

On my way home from work, I might encounter 10 vehicles.

It's almost as if the people are afraid to come out at night.

Then again, I have been accused of being a vampire for the hours I keep.

My new phone is ready to go.

The roads are fixed and smooth again.

RR tracks have been upgraded and opened.

Everything that has been bothering me for the last week has been resolved.

Now I'm just waiting for the next 'interruption' in my status quo.
