I tried to upload a cartoon to a social site. The joke was about someone buying a new washing machine that washed away sins. The punchline was that they can do anything with new technology. It wouldn't upload because it was deemed insensitive to some people. WHAT? I don't know whether to laugh or cry.  | ||

Good old Facebook is at it again. I attempted to post a vintage (over 100 years old) photo of a man without his head on his shoulders, holding it in his hand. Halloween type picture, right? No. It fails to be up to their 'standards' and was blocked. I was also asked if I needed counseling for suicidal thoughts. C'mon, it's Halloween, people! | ||

My parents grew up in the 30s & 40s. They were raised that you didn't waste ANYthing. So, when I bought too much bacon at the grocery, my training has kicked in: Biscuits & gravy (making the gravy with bacon grease). Bacon & eggs. Bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwiches. If there's any bacon left over Monday, bacon will be inserted into my lunch meat sandwiches for work. I'm sure mom will be smiling down from Heaven. ~ | ||||||
