Astroglide is definitely a good choice, but a little pricey. KY Jelly is good too, and so are some of the flavored ones. I've seen a few people recommend ID Millennium, but in my experience it's not very good... it's slippery as hell on hard plastic, but it seems to absorb into the skin too quickly and has an oily feel to it.

We use astroglide and love it. Since it's water-based, when it starts to dry out, a little spit brings the slipperiness right back.

if i ever use lube for masturbating I use a good hair conditioner, not cheap ones that are thinned out but a good one. Works great!

Astroglide is a liquid. Your thinking of KY, it comes in jelly,
liquid, warming, silky. I've tried all of them, and they're all ok.
there's not much difference between KY liquid and Astroglide..
but I always seem to go back to Astroglide.

I was just replying to SSSS1's hair conditioner recommendation.

I agree with most here who've replied about Astroglide. and the KY one as well.
I've used baby oil too.. and once.. when i lived in DC area.. there was an Indian place someplace downtown, off the beaten path.. that sold these great oils. They didn't taste like the usual ones.. not 'soapy'.. and the viscosity levels were great as well.
they stayed oily.. and slippery.
and if nothing else works.. try mayo. lol.

Astroglide does come in gel and warming.. I have some of both.

I once tried olive oil(extra virgin, hehe) on an ex-boyfriend, who had forgotten to bring his usual stuff. He had never used olive oil before, and now it's his favourite. I'm not certain if it would be a good idea to use it for vaginal sex though...
