Do people take the time to read erotica now?
Digital imaging is so fast and furious these days.
You can choose any porn you wish at the click of a mouse.
I'm interested to find out what makes people tick in words.
Quite simply, do erotic stories hit your spot?
Can the words conjure up the images for you?
Does it have to be short and to the point?
Can just words get you wet or hard?
Is there a male and female preference?
Love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks
Fran

I think that erotic literature and porn are different.

I think that the stairway scene in Unfaithful and the monk and the peasant girl in the name of the rose are unbelievable erotic and every time i watch the scene, the animal lust and desire/need for a man is switched on in my brain. I can feel myself being transported into those women's bodies want/needing the release.

I find the same true with erotic liturature---i become the woman with her needs, lusts and desires.

porn, on the other hand, can be a turn on but i rarely feel the connection with the woman. it is more of an interest than an immersion in the event.

I enjoy a good erotic story
I like to read well written erotic fiction. I have a preference for true stories, when they are written well, ie, done in a literary style (every other is not fuck and doesn't amount to someone bragging about their big cock or huge tits).

YES!! I enjoy reading erotic stories and exchange them with on-line friends.

I enjoy writing erotic stories – True Stories and Fantasies.

Fantasies are fabulous – ANYTHING can happen in a FANTASY!!

Thanks. Perhaps if you have the time you could read 'Friends Will Be Friends' on the forum because I'd appreciate your thoughts to find out if this story falls into the category you mentioned.
Thanks in advance
Fran

Be interested to hear your thoughts on Friends Will Be Friends... as it's a longer read, and more like a couple of chapters from a novel, where the main character is a little more 3 dimensional. Thanks

OMG YES! Reading hits you on a much different level! The images are described to you, but you paint the visual picture in your brain, still the biggest sexual organ of all time. I read "The Pearl" when I was a teen & would always feel the stirrings in my crotch every time! Another classic was "Autobiography of a Flea!", also classic Victorian era erotica brought to us by the wonderful "stiff upper lip"(amongst other stiff things) people the Brits! It just occurred to me that their flag is nick named also after 2 of Brit men's 2 favorite sexual things, the "Union" & the "jack"(wank)..... LOL

50 Shades of Grey
I've been thinking of adding "Fifty Shades of Grey" to my reading list. Can anyone tell me what they thought of it? grin

I love a good story
I found some erotic literature that my dad had hidden in his dresser. I masterbated for the first time to one of the books I found. I wish I could remember the actual name of the book and could find a copy of it. The subject was taboo then and now. A good story will get me off faster than anything.
