Taking Care Of A Friend Question

Good day everybody.
I apologize if this has been asked before.

Has any couple here ever "taken care of" a friend's husband or wife while their partner is away ?

For example: a friend's wife go away for some time, work or holiday. Hubby is left at home.

I have done this on several occasions for guy friends of hubby and me.
