Fasting for big people is a bad idea. It will work for a few weeks but when your body reaches a certain point you get really hungry. The best thing you can do is cut your normal portions in half and instead of just eating 3 times a day eat 5 times a day and make sure to involve healthy food such as fruits and vegetables. Eating lest food more often through out the day will speed up your metabolism. Along with two 20 minuets walks or exercise of some sort will help you loose weight really fast. Once to your satisfaction of weight/size you haft to maintain it. So you haft to keep up with exercise and eating right.

Also make sure to drink lots of water. A glass before a meal is a great idea because it helps the food digest better and you fill up faster.
